On our way towards Cape Coast

Today we left Lake Botsumtwi and aimed for Cape Coast and Brenu Beach Resort. We have also visited Elmina Castle and are now enjoying the Atlantic Ocean's seabreeze after a lovely lobster dinner.

Coco pod, kentecloth, wooden carvings

A long day and at least 1 hour still to get back to the hotel. We have been in Kumasi, the Open Air market, the Kente weaveri, the wooden carvings and also made our own pattern on kente cloth. Today we have all bought really nice things.

And yes, the coco stuff around the coco bean tasted just as I remembered.

The beachclub, at long last

Before, this picture is taken in 1975 or 1976, it looked like this. The people around the table are, from the left, Jeanine, Ray Chappel, Manny Sackey, Arnuld Duodu, Teresa Bredero and behind the camera, me myself and I.

This picture is taken 2012 and you can see it looks a lot different than then but it is still the beachclub only a bit different. Now you see, from the left, me, myself and I, Arnulf and Julie
